Quick sponge cake with fresh Fruit Dessert

Quick sponge cake with fresh Fruit Dessert

Sponge cake with fresh fruits These sponge cake desserts are wonderful dessert for those times that you need something sweet. I always have them in the freezer just in case we have unexpected guests. There are 6 in a pack and you can take out two at a time, and leave the rest in the freezer. I can make dessert in under 10 minutes by cutting up what fruits I have.  I use the kids yogurt that I always have for school lunches. My husband prefers to use ice cream instead of yogurt if we have it.  I add a bit of chocolate sauce or caramel sauce that we always have in the refrigerator.           This was…

Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy- Book Review

Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy- Book Review

Eat That Frog Veronica’s Book Review   Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy, is a book about how to stop procrastinating. It’s filled with useful tips, and insight to help you avoid the pitfuls of procrastinations.  I’m a born procrastinator, I also tend to fall back into old patterns therefore this is why this is my third time reading  this book. The reason why I will continue to go through this book is because its simple and straight to the point.  I find that there was not a lot of things that I didn’t  already know in the book.  Regardless,  I found the book useful , it’s important to constantly reinforce the ideas that are written in the book.  Also using Oprah’s words each time I…

The air dry clay- purchased at the Dollar Store I saw this plate on Pinterest and thought I would give it a try. I followed the instructions, It turned out to be a quick easy project. I purchased the air dry clay from the dollar store. Rolled it out on wax paper with a rolling pin. Put a lace doily in one corner and rolled over it lightly to imprint the design. Then placed plastic wrap in the bottom of a bowl. Place the rolled out clay in the bowl,so it would take the bowls shape. leave it to dry for a few days. Here is the link to the original post. http://www.duitang.com/people/mblog/10154823/detail/ Once it was dry I used sand…

Easter Wreath- Dollar Store Eggs

Easter Wreath- Dollar Store Eggs

EASTER WREATH This wreath was simple and inexpensive  to make. I used a 40 percent off coupon from Micheal’s to purchase the wreath. Then I used some eggs that I purchased from the dollar store, I adhere the eggs with my trusted hot glue. I didn’t have any nice ribbon so I used left over  gift  ribbon which was also purchased at the dollar store. I found the wreath a little bare, I wanted to fill it in a bit, so I used a vine of yellow buds that I had previously purchased from the dollar store, lucky for me it had a  few leafs. Inexpensive grapevine wreath, be sure to go on line to use the weekly coupons at…
